When You're Already Frustrated It's Monday What You Really Need Is Pets Doing Human Tricks To Improve Your Mood

I have a case of the Mondays, so I’ve taken to the internet to work off some of my aggression. Here are a few of the highlights:

The Monday before Star Trek is released, May 4,  is Star Wars day.  Somewhere a Trekkie and a man in a Chewbacca suit are fighting to the death in their mom’s front yard.

It’s official, no one cares what movie critics think and everyone should just read our blog.  X-Men Origins:  Wolverine took in $87 million in three days.

47% of  Wolverine’s audience was composed of women.  And contrary to what the internets are saying it was not because Hugh hosted the Oscars.  It was because Oprah had him on her show on Friday, May 1, and he was charming, modest and looked crazy cute when he blushed.  She got a man elected president, she can give a man the 4th largest summer season opener weekend.  Probably didn’t hurt that she showed every single scene he doesn’t wear clothes in…

I’m still very frustrated the studio heads released 2 separate “secret” endings to X-men.  Why punish the fans who pay to see the movie cause some bag of douche watched a leaked copy?  People who watch illegally downloaded movies are not people who typically pay to see a movie anyway.  Yes, I saw the movie twice this weekend.  Yes, one of the endings is better.  No, neither of them are worth another $10 ticket.

Zachary Quinto is rumored to be leaving Heroes.  I just stopped being a fan of Heroes, updates to follow.

I saved the past 5 episodes of Dollhouse and had myself a veg fest this weekend.  The show is starting to get really strong now that they don’t have to pretend fans are stupid.  Hopefully FOX keeps it and moves it out of the death time slot.  I recommend catching up on Hulu before the episodes expire.

Fringe was just given an “early” season 2 renewal.  You were probably woken up by my squee’s of glee when I found out.  This post is a giant Hulu advertisement because I’m sending you there again to catch up on Fringe before the finale.  No, you do not want to wait until the box set comes out.  Yes, you will become addicted like it’s crack.  But that’s the JJ Abrams way.

In celebration of  JJ Abrams’ new movie being released at 7:00 p.m. this Thursday (I know wtf, right?) this week will be Star Trek week for the most part here at Little Junkies.  I say for the most part because I’m more excited for Sylar ::whoops::  Zachary Quinto to get a movie role.  Unless Junkie1 takes away my admin duties you’ll be hearing a lot about him.

I would NEVER stop you from gushing about our favorite little villain!

  2. Junkie2 says:

It appears you and I have a thing for serial killers…

  3. Zrose25 says:

    Dibs! 🙂

  4. Zrose25 says:

Why is Zachary Quinto leaving Heroes? He makes the show worth watching… HRG is just not evil enough to be promoted to head evildoer. Every super hero needs a super villain… this is going to throw the universe out of alignment!!!

  5. Junkie2 says:

You can’t call dibs on my post! We need to create “Dibs” rules….

Turns out it was just an internet rumor as a result of the Heroes finale. I’m told he is very much a part of next seasons story line.

  6. Junkie2 says:

And by “i’m told” i mean i read a bunch of different websites. 🙂

  7. Junkie1 says:

    Rules to “Dibs”
    1. Junkie1 gets first dibs as the first junkie
    2. …so suck it!

  8. Junkie2 says:

ok we may need to hire an independent contractor to create the rules for dibs…

  9. Zrose25 says:

The rules of dibs are as follows:
She that calls dibs first gets Zachary Quinto (or Hugh Jackman, or Ryan Reynolds, or Leiv Schriber… or whomever is being discussed) 🙂

  10. Junkie1 says:

I think you might have missed rule #2… 😉

  11. Junkie2 says:

Yes, but dibs is implicit here since the post is authored by moi :p No need to call out. So see rule 2!

If I were too tired to drive and had J1 take the wheel I would automatically get shotgun since I own the vehicle.

  12. Junkie1 says:

Dude, both endings of Wolverine are like delish little bits of joy! Like baby-hints of what the future holds! Buuuut, I’m pissed that they split them up.

  13. Junkie2 says:

Did you see the movie for a 3rd time today while waiting for Star Trek to open up seating?
